Khurram and Joanna sought a quiet space in which they could work from home. Given the cost of moving and the knowledge that a loft conversion would add value to their property, they contacted Landmark Lofts to manage the conversion of their attic. They pictured a space that would offer them flexibility in terms of its use as either a home office, or a guest bedroom, and therefore, the conversion would also incorporate a bathroom.
"We always planned on having a loft conversion, but the increase in noise from the kids and the added property value price meant we'd rather do it sooner than later."
With a focus on complementing the style and character of Khurram and Joanna's home, the project manager oversaw the development of a comfortable double room with plenty of built-in storage space.
"From the get-go, we were impressed with the customer service, the quote wasn’t the cheapest but we felt that the few extra thousand pounds was warranted given the team involved, timescales promised, customer service and the level of advice we received."
Adding over 200 square feet of extra space to their mid-terrace house, the dormer conversion has created the perfect top floor retreat. Khurram and Joanna are proud of the new development, which incorporates three Velux windows that allow natural light to shine in onto the white walls, creating a feeling of openness in the room. The attractive Juliet balcony and immaculately finished bathroom add the finishing touches to this bedroom and home office.
