1. Modular Installation Site Manager
 

We are looking for a site manager/team leader to complete installations of our new modular loft conversions.

Essential criteria:

  • Good literacy/language skills in both English and ideally one eastern European language
  • Ability to read working drawings
  • Knowledge of domestic buildings and services
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within London/Greater London

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

  • General building or carpentry
  • Loft conversions/extensions
  • Modular building installations
  • Roofing

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands the various components of the installation and is currently running (or is able to recruit) a team to complete the installations.

A competitive salary or contract rate per project will be offered to the successful candidates.

2. Factory Manager
 

We are a modular loft manufacturing business specialising in the creation of offsite built modular lofts. Our Doncaster factory has been open for around 14 months and is experiencing rapid growth. The Production & Facility Manager will report to the company Director, will be entrusted with a high degree of independence and will have a genuine opportunity to make a meaningful impact towards the growth of the business.

We require an ambitious and influential manager as this role will be focused on making improvements across the site in order for the business to continue growing. This position requires an experienced Manager who can excel in the following areas:

Job Duties and Responsibilties:

  • Lead the development and delivery of current and future site capacity, sustainably and cost effectively, with a focus on building a safe and efficient operation; a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • This is a key role where you will work closely and collaboratively with other managers across the business and external suppliers
  • Strong planning ability combined with demonstrable experience of effectively putting strategies into action
  • Ensuring that each project is delivered on time and on budget and there is transparency at every stage of the build process
  • Build and develop schedules & budgets and ensure they are adhered to
  • Oversee the production and transport of lofts from Doncaster to London
  • Manage & coordinate all production processes
  • Be responsible for future team recruitment and scale up and develop staff within the team
  • Be an all-rounder; comfortable doing whatever it takes to ensure the factory and your team are able to stay motivated and complete projects to schedule

Candidate Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant managerial experience, ideally within a factory environment
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Proven experience recruiting, training and managing a team
  • Experience in construction projects
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products

3. Sales Manager
 

An exciting Part time B2C opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious and innovative business disrupting the London loft conversion scene. We are looking for someone who can bring some commercial acumen, sales drive and the attitude to be a success in a medium sized business environment. You will be responsible for providing the vision, direction and leadership necessary to facilitate future growth.

This position will afford you autonomy to instil the procedures and culture you believe will take the companie's performance to the next level. The existing team are passionate and experienced with an exceptional market reputation; they need and want day to day leadership and direction.

You should have a successful track record of sales delivery and have had exposure to establishing routes to market, lead qualification and building sales processes. You will have experience managing a team and will be comfortable recruiting and training sales professionals.

It is strongly preferred that you are educated to degree level and it would be beneficial if you have sold semi-technical products before. It would be of interest if you have exposure to construction environments.

You Will:

  • Set the sales strategy and deliver financial growth plans
  • Be new business focused
  • Have a strong proven track record of delivering sales revenue to ensure per agreed targets have been met
  • Be metric and data driven: proven track record in driving and achieving pipeline goals
  • Have the ability to influence others and build strong working relationships across departments and stakeholders
  • Understand the key drivers of the forecast, including any risks or opportunities facing the business and ensure alignment of the sales team to monthly goals
  • Lead and drive change to improve business performance
  • Be action/results oriented
  • Have the ability to delegate effectively, lead by example and develop sales talent

Candidate Experience:

  • At least 3 years of relevant sales or sales management experience and a proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivering results towards business plans
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Experience building reports and forecasts within a CRM (Building and expanding on current reporting will be key). Zoho CRM experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft office is necessary
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire sale team performance
  • Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development

4. Production Manager
 

A committed Production Manager with accomplished and effective leadership skills is required to take responsibility for the efficient running of production, where you will be joining one of the leaders in offsite built modular lofts in the UK.

As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing up to date information at production planning meetings
  • Creating, managing and communicating an effective production plan to deliver each project on time, completed and to the desired cost and quality
  • Supervise the production team to produce and prioritise jobs when necessary and to meet deadline changes and updates
  • Monitor all quality, accuracy & timeliness of all orders
  • Have a focus on building a safe and efficient operation; a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Working closely and collaboratively with other managers across the business and external suppliers
  • Strong planning ability combined with demonstrable experience of effectively putting strategies into action
  • Be an all-rounder; comfortable doing whatever it takes to ensure the factory and your team are able to stay motivated and complete projects to schedule
  • Identify areas of improvement to reduce down time issues and scale up production

We are keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

  • Management of a team, with a proven track record of getting the best out of people
  • A strong understanding of KPI's and the importance of these
  • Strong understanding of modern manufacturing techniques
  • PC Literate
  • Numerate

Salary is commensurate with experience and this role is based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
