Bryan and Cheryl wished to breathe new life into their home, and as a result, decided to renovate their loft. As featured in www.houzz.co.uk, the new space would offer a cosy bedroom and a complementary bathroom.
As well as making Bryan and Cheryl's wish to refurbish the loft in their mid terrace house come true, another facet of the project was to create a space that complemented the character of the house.
With a focus on intelligent design, Landmark's in-house team of chartered architects, structural engineers and designers were committed to executing Bryan and Cheryl’s vision. The priorities were maximising every inch of available space, as well as ensuring that the new development would suit their needs. Aesthetic considerations were made in order to create a space that would suit the style of their home.
The process then involved demolishing the existing chimneys in the loft and reroofing the existing dormer, the removal of the existing loft shower room and the installation of a roof dome. The project manager oversaw the development, keeping Bryan and Cheryl informed throughout the process.
A stunning L-shaped dormer conversion at the top of Brian and Cheryl’s mid terrace house, the refurbishment created an exquisite loft that includes a sophisticated master bedroom and complementary bathroom. Brian is extremely pleased that the project added over 371 square feet of extra space to their property, and that our dedicated in-house team helped them add thousands to the value of their home.
The cosy master bedroom embodies sophistication, exuding brilliance in every detail and features two large Velux windows which allow natural light to pour into the space. The conversion also maximised every inch of available space, with custom-made storage built into either side of the eaves. From this sanctuary, three steps lead to a flawlessly finished bathroom that includes a separate shower unit.
